It's so hot that all I want to do is sprawl out in the middle of the floor and listen to music until I pass out for an afternoon nap. These songs should do the trick, if I don't keep myself awake by humming along.
...mostly new stuff in this playlist - enjoy.
"You Hear Colours" is my favorite jam of the year. "1901" is close behind. The end of "Epilepsy is Dancing" will most certainly make you cry.
I'm heading into the archives ... digging through Cex similars searching for songs I haven't heard in years.
My list is comprised of some older tracks, many of which I had never heard before. I compiled it one evening by starting with TV on The Radio and clicking 'I like this' on the music player whenever I ran across something interesting.

Have you ever tried compiling a 10 song playlist that not only represents your website, but the contributors who bring it to life on a daily basis?! Not an easy task, but I think I've nailed it! Stop by the site and let me know if you enjoyed it. -Kip, Rock Sellout

Plan A: Enjoy the playlist which was chosen to reflect some of those rock-type acts that have been featured on Culture Bully in the past two years or so. Plan B: Refuse to listen to the music, and amuse yourself with a goof: "John Kerry walks into a bar. The bartender says, 'Why the long face?'" Plan C: Compromise and enjoy both. -Chris, Culture Bully
Guest Picks: Coffeesnorter
A selection of the type of brew you'll find at ADD. Our blog isn't so much about what you read, but what you hear...because like a good cup of coffee, you won't know if its good, til you try it. And we'll do our best to filter out the excess, so drop by for the latest brew. -B, Coffee Snorter
I impart these songs to you as I would if I was on the cover of Sonic Youth's "Goo"--I'd saunter by all murderous and leather-jacket clad, my sister's boyfriend on my arm, both of us ensconced in a cloud of cigarette smoke. I'd reach into the lining of my jacket and pull out a burnt CD, chuck it at you all "FUCK YOU" and wink, "sample my wares". I don't know. These songs just make me feel that cool.
Guest Picks: Fabulist
Hey wonder-kids, it's the Fabulist clocking in with our list o' musical goodies from Better Propaganda. Dance around, sing out loud, and drop by and say hi whenever you're in the neighborhood. -Olga, Fabulist
My substitution for coffee. A caffeine-free way to jolt start your morning, afternoon, or evening. But don't be mistaken, these songs aren't any less addicting than that cappuccino you drink every day.
