Featured Video: Kenna - Chains

Kenna, the Ethiopian-born American artist, has just released a video for his track “Chains” which is featured on his 3 track LP, Land 2 Air Chronicles I: Chaos and the Darkness. The track, produced by Shimmy Hoffa aka Chad Hugo from N.E.R.D. was officially released a few months ago but the video just dropped.

Reconsidered: Black Lips

Atlanta’s Black Lips, formed in 1999, have altered their boisterous garage rock sound for something a little cleaner on their new record, Arabia Mountain. Before signing to Vice Records, the four-piece released two albums on Bomp! Records and a third for In The Red Records. Arabia Mountain will be their third release on Vice. The Black Lips have also put out a large number of singles and splits over the years.

Music industry veterans Steve Spacek (Spacek Sound System) and Mark Pritchard (Global Communication, Troubleman, Harmonic 313) teamed up to form a new project called Africa Hitech. Warp Records just released their debut album, 93 Million Miles, on Tuesday, May 10th.
