Nic Armstrong: The Finishing Touch

The very early sixties of innocence, the years before the Manson family and Kennedy's assassination, these are the now fuzzy, black and white, clean cut days that Nic Armstrong turns a talented eye upon in "The Finishing Touch". The song jangles in all the right places and in all the right ways, but he doesn't ignore the present, punching up the bottom line of the track with a very fat 'n' fuzzy bass sound.

Armstrong mines the innocence and leaves the late sixties drug haze of free love, war protests, and flower power to bands like The Brian Jonestown Massacre.
