Tindersticks: Trying To Find A Home

This song, like all Tindersticks work, bears... no... is draped in, Stuart Staples black velvet voice. A voice at times so full of basso profundo doom and yet it can illicit a sense of thin hope in it's upper register. The track, "Trying To Find A Home', isn't as full of doom as other Tindersticks staples, (sorry), but it gives us, the listener, the hope-bearing upper register of Staples even when delivering the woebegotten lyric. Kinda like Arab Strap, but without the booze soaked sexual tension and preoccupation.
