BioPoleposition performs songs of fate, tragedy, love and loss, drawing comparison to the material of Velvet Underground, Blonde Redhead, and Roxy Music. Grumbling bass lines and synths give chase to haunted keys, pulsating rhythms, and floating vocals on their debut EP, 'XO,' a concept mini-album that tracks a narrative about cruising unforgiving cityscapes.
With both Rui Guerrerio and Daniel Silva being Portuguese, dark sounds of lament and oceans found in the music of Portugal's Fado weave through each song. Before their debut, Poleposition scored 2 independent short films, which aired on The Sundance Channel. The group has added Ron Pastore on bass and plans to continue with live shows and studio projects.
